Emerson's Zanzibar Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to cultivating culture in Zanzibar, based at 240 Hurumzi Street, Stone Town, P.O. Box 3417, Zanzibar, Tanzania. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
We only collect what we need: information you give us when you contact us, subscribe, become a member or donate, typically your name, email address, phone number and message; donation details, where our payment providers handle your card or mobile money information and we never store your card number; and basic technical information recorded automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time of your visit.
We use it to reply to your enquiry, send you updates you have asked for, process donations, memberships and applications, keep proper records of our supporters and programmes, and keep this website secure and working. We will not sell your information, and we will not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for. You can unsubscribe from any email we send you at any time.
This website uses cookies and similar technologies, small files stored on your device, to make the site work and to understand how it is used. Essential cookies are needed for the website to function, including remembering your choices and keeping forms secure.
